Jordan completed his BSc in Biology at Radford University in Virginia. As an undergraduate, Jordan was the recipient of the Ruth-Bricker Painter Research Award for his work in developing a novel assay to assess immunocompetence of free-living non-model species.
Jordan is currently a PhD candidate in Zoology at UBC. His thesis research focuses on the systemic and local regulation of stress hormones in the developing immune system and brain. His research is supported by the UBC 4-Year Doctoral Fellowship.
