William Casazza a PhD Candidate in the Bioinformatics Training Program at UBC. His main research interests focus on the role of sex and environmental factors in determining complex disease risk. Currently, he is studying how genetic regulation of DNA methylation changes with sex within term placental tissue. In particular, he is interested in how these examples of sex bias contribute to the observed genetic risk for neuropsychiatric traits.
