Ning is a Ph.D. student and a research assistant supervised by Dr. Keegan Korthauer in the Department of Statistics at the University of British Columbia. She earned her M.S. in the Department of Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her undergraduate degree in the University of Science and Technology of China. Her research mainly focuses on developing statistical methodologies and computational tools for single-cell methylation analysis. Her PhD project aims to detect underlying cell subpopulations as well as epigenetic variability between cells from single-cell bisulfite sequencing data.
