Faculty of Science
Nathaniel joined the Huan lab in the third year of his Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. As his first foray into chemical research, he is excited to explore the capabilities of mass spectrometry and its applications to health and medicine. His first project involves characterizing the metabolome of mice hearts lacking a particular mitochondrial enzyme. He is also involved in clinical research at BC Children’s Hospital. In his free time, Nathaniel enjoys hiking and playing basketball. He was raised in nearby Richmond, BC, where he currently resides.
