Minseon (Michelle) completed her BSc in Biology at UBC in 2021. As a MSc student in Dr. Kiran Soma's lab, Michelle's research focuses on the effects of maternal sucrose intake on offspring physiology and behaviour. She is currently examining how maternal sucrose consumption during pregnancy affects the fetal brain and physiology. She is particularly interested in how maternal sucrose consumption alters glucocorticoid physiology.
