Dorothy is part of the Kobor Lab group at BCCHR, where her project aims to uncover the role of epigenetic age in the associations between prenatal phthalate exposure and behavioural outcomes in young children. Through this work, Dorothy hopes to uncover how early life exposures may affect later mental health outcomes in children. Outside of the lab, Dorothy is a passionate advocate for increasing access to mental health resources, and she hopes to increase awareness through volunteer efforts with local organizations such as the BC Crisis Centre and the Graduate Student Wellbeing Ambassador Program at UBC.
