Svilena Lazarova

Svilena Lazarova is a Master of Science in Nutrition Candidate in Dr. Mahsa Jessri’s nutritional epidemiology for population health research group at the University of British Columbia. Her dissertation research is focused on the association of dietary patterns with cardiovascular disease risk among different socioeconomic groups in Canada. Svilena obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and Nutrition at the University of Glasgow (Glasgow, UK). Through participation in research and voluntary work both in the community and clinical practice, Svilena has established herself in the field of nutritional epidemiology, with a strong passion for a career in public health.
