Lindsay Goodridge is a Registered Dietitian starting her PhD in Human Nutrition with the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in Fall 2022. Her areas of focus include food security, health equity, and healthy public policy. She is also passionate about weight neutral approaches to health care. She recently completed a 9 month contract as a full-time lecturer at the University of Prince Edward Island teaching 6 courses in the Department of Applied Human Sciences. During her Masters of Public Health at the University of Toronto, she completed internships with The Gathering Place (a community food centre in her home town that provides meals and programming for people experiencing mental illness, addictions, and homelessness), the Feeding the City Project, and Food Secure Canada which helped solidify her passion for equitable public policy and food security. Outside of academia, Lindsay enjoys archery both from the ground and horseback, reading in the sun, and cake decorating. She admits she is not a good cake decorator, but enjoys it nonetheless.
