Hitasha is an undergraduate student pursuing her BSc in Behavioural Neuroscience, with a minor in Law and Society. She joined Dr. Soma’s lab during the second year of her degree. She is currently examining the effects of stress on glucocorticoid synthesis within lymphoid organs and multiple brain regions. Specifically, her research involves investigating the ability of these tissues to locally regulate stress hormones after being subjected to an immune challenge during development.
