Ei-Xia is a PhD candidate in Dr. Angela Devlin’s lab. She is a graduate from the University of Guelph and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics (Honours).

Ei-Xia joined the Reproductive and Developmental Sciences program at UBC to carry out her graduate studies. Her research interests tie together maternal prenatal nutrition and offspring health. She is particularly focused on maternal folic acid supplementation before and during pregnancy and assessing the metabolic health of the offspring exposed to high levels of folic acid during development.

In her spare time, Ei-Xia enjoys spending time creating new recipes in the kitchen and exploring the local food scene. ​
