Centre for Digital Life Norway
Kam Sripada studies how early experiences influence long-term health and wellbeing — especially in children who face biological, social, and environmental risks in early life. At NTNU, her current focus is toxic chemicals in the environment (such as heavy metals and air pollution), especially in light of their effects on brain development and children's unequal exposure to these chemicals around the world. She has used neuroimaging to better understand how pregnancy outcomes shape long-term brain structure and function.
