On July 15th, 2019 we held the first Social Exposome Cluster Trainee Research Day. The day was a big success and included 20 presentations from undergraduate, Masters, and PhD students, as well as postdoctoral researchers who gave fantastic talks on a diverse range of topics. The day highlighted the interdisciplinary nature of the Cluster and included trainees from the Departments of Medical Genetics, Pediatrics, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Psychology, Zoology, Chemistry, Statistics, and Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, as well as the Faculty of Land and Food Systems and the School of Population and Public Health. Ten trainees were awarded travel awards for their excellent presentations:
